If I had to choose, I'd go for the HM Plant Honda rather than the PBM Kawasaki, but if anyone can do it Shakey can, his rides on the Rizla Suzuki and Stobart Hondas were heroic. One of the most interesting rides on the grid, hope he does well.

I dunno, PBM weren't the BEST at WSBK, but they actually held their own and got some impressive results (Incl. a double win at BSB on the old dog).

I think this could be a dangerous team this year. Easton and Byrne is a strong pairing.

No argument with any of that

Still have a strange sense there's lot Shakey's not saying there somehow 'tho. He's sort of said a lot and said nowt when you break it down.

I suppose to be fair if its a dog he needs to keep that quiet for now. And if its looking set to blow everything else into the weeds .... well, he needs to keep that quiet.

Easton was doing well on the Kawasaki last year before his accident in the NW2000, no reason to suspect he won't start the season as well this year and if the bikes at all competitive I expect Byrne will somewhere up the front. And you would hope that the work done on the SBK bike relative to tyre degradation will have filtered down to BSB so they could be real contenders.

True.

But Easton pre the NW 200

Was the only one really making it fly 'tho.

There were a few other workmanlike showings but only Easton looked like serious threat for the series.
