Poor show from the Ducati teams with the exception of Scott who has Ducati experience unlike Jentin/tunstall staff who are learning the bike.
Splitlath dont appear to be doing Flora Marino any favours but apart from that business as usual at the front.
Being on Form comes and goes but class never leaves you...ROCK ON TOMMY.on that useless un-competetive YAMAHA R1.

The Duc teams have been struggling with getting the bikes to run properly with the standard electronics. It is hard on the teams to get things sorted in a short time frame particularly as they aren't the biggest or well-funded. Now when will someone get those Aprillias sorted as they continue to disappoint.

"Poor showing by the Ducati's"
Really, what did you expect??? The bike is far from ready to race (which is why it is not being campaigned in WSB), probably barely superstock spec, run by two under-funded, second-rate teams with riders to match.
The past few years, Ducati has shown their UK customers a complete lack of respect by not properly supporting a first rate team, as used to be the case with MonsterMob or Airwaves.

The Ducati race bikes have always run on Marelli electronics in BSB and WSBK and they will never run to their full potential on anything but the Marelli electronics.
Jentin and Moto Rapido must be aware of this so why they chose Ducati for 2012 is a mystery.
Also the Ducati without traction is the most difficult bike to control which is another reason i would not of chose a Panigale to run under the current 2012 regulations.
With the fragility and expected lifespan of the RS power unit in race specification makes the Ducati a very expensive option to be racing around at the back of the grid.
If these teams are not very well funded a change of machinery would be a wise choice unless Ducati are giving the teams engine parts free of charge which i dont think is the case,it never has been.

What nonsense from 'been there, done that'.
1. 'Why MotoRapido chose Ducati for 2012 is a mystery'. It might be to you son, but let me educate you - MotoRapido is a DUCATI DEALER in Winchester. Figured it out yet?
2. A twin without traction control is far easier to manage than a four without TC, and is always far more gentle on the tyres ... which is why Checa bides his time in WSB races & comes through at the end.
3. 'The RS engine is very expensive in race specification'. You haven't been keeping up have you? The old 999 was very expensive because it was so highly tuned. That was exactly why Ducati wanted to go to 1200 ... so they could cut costs and lower the level of tune. The cost of running a Duke today at BSB level is no more expensive than any Jap bike.
Really, I wish some of you knew what you were talking about if you want to post.
