I really enjoy watching Josh riding the GSXR 1000 at the weekend. He was so fast and smooth. I am sure the other riders, Hill, Lowry, Byrne etc could not believe the speed of the Gsxr. Josh seemed to be relaxed and chilled in the interviews after each race. I hope it continues. I am sure Hector and Philip went home smiling yesterday. Job done.

Funny, I thought the concensus was that Josh was a dangerous liabilty and should be flogged and sent back to Oz......maybe that's next week.
Nice work, clean aggressive passes, podium didn't look possible in the early part of either race but he kept calm and managed his tyres better than anybody, he has a right to feel pleased with himself.

No pp, that's when Honda UK are trying to pull the wool over out eyes that Josh is a danger. I still don't think there was all that much wrong with his coming together with Rutter at Cadwell like some were pleading.

Brookes really seems to have gotten his sh1t together this season - that second race was his best ride in BSB so far.

Just looking at old lap records too - Lavilla and his 999 still have the lap record at Thruxton, but Brookes' fastest lap yesterday was only just over a second slower, despite the new bike rules and (relatively) limited electronics on these bikes.
