Only just got back from Oulton, but did see the marshals getting JK's bike out of the pond at the side of the track after the racing/qualifying finished. It was a sight for sore eyes - but reminds you how much worse this could have been. John's a very lucky lad...

Great news to hear Jon has no injuries after a nasty looking impact.
Why they dont move the barrier back is a mystery to me.I am sure a racers life is more important than a few trees.Racers have lost their lives at that point on the circuit in the past.
Motorsport is a dangerous occupation i know, but if it can be made safer then every effort should be put in to do so.
It is such an easy'fix'to make that part of the circuit safer at Oulton Park so please MSV get it sorted before we end up with another fatality.

How typical that a rider comes away very lucky from a high speed crash and regrets the inconvenience to his team.. Maybe some premiership footballers should take a look at the accident and reflect on it next time they're rolling around on the floor because they've broke a nail.. John is a very lucky boy.. He knows it, we all know it.. Glad it wasn't worse.. Hope he's not hurting to much this morning..

did nobody else (even his team) see his flat back tyre just before he crashed?!?!? thats why the bike slid in 2 direction the previous corner and them let go over clay hill. not a front end crash as the commentators kept saying.
