he didn't deserve the ride in the first place.

Not sure why this is a surprise as it isn't usually the done thing to ride for another manufacturer. Rutter has been on the podium and he has been nowhere so hopefully they put a young rider on the bike now.

Its not the first time this has happened in racing, many F1 drivers have done this, regarding contracts as waste bin paper. Self comes first and there will be a price to be paid as in Hickmans case, now sacked by Kawasaki. It goes without saying Suzuki now at least owe him something for the big chance he took for them.

Why do Suzuki don't owe him anything! They offered the ride and he was dumb enough to take it, he could of easily said thanks but no thanks. The guy blew his best ever chance to succeed! I'm not sure who would come in to replace him, maybe Mark Aitchison might get out of his ride on the BMW which isn't really going well tbh, I know he was looking at BSB for 2012 but chose World SBK

Lack of respect? Please.....

As Paul Denning has posted today "how can you get fired from a job that doesn't pay you a single penny and for which you have no contract??"

Paul Denning also tweeted that they approached MSS for permision and said "the initial reaction was not the same as today's stupidity".

I imagine MSS were initially ok with it based on not having a contract with Hickman and not paying him anything - I think it was probably when Kawasaki UK caught wind of things that it turned sour.

If they were no contract just a handshake and he wasn't getting paid then it seems a bit strong really. Although I don't know the ins and outs. Different championships too which makes me think its a bad decision. Not like he's rode a Tyco Suzuki and not the Kawasaki at the same meeting. But wearing the MSS Bathams leathers was maybe an extra p@ss take. Free advertising for the Brewery at world level tho!!
If he can afford he wants to buy a gixxer and maybe with a little help from Cresent race the remainder of the season wearing them leathers just tape a few logo's up!! Turn up in van blow plaster dust off and just try beat KAWASAKI'S Be funny if nothing else.
