@ben I believe it's an open race for 600cc and above, so there's some supersport and superbike spec stuff put there. Could be interesting but can't see the 600s having much of a chance around somewhere like silverstone...

PTR have built 2 fireblades superbikes for the one off will be interesting as it is an open race with traction control aloud.will the bsb riders turn their TC on?
My money is on Cluzel.

Why would PTR waste a chance to get crucial track time round Silverstone? They're running their WSS bikes no doubt. No wonder you're called Louth Looney.

I read they are using it as a test for the WSBK round but didnt Scassa get disqualifed from a race last year for riding at track before the last years round in Italy ??

Scassa did get a ban for testing at a track before the round. However the rule only covers testing. You are free to enter any properly sanctioned race meeting without any issues.
