It's a shame that his big off at Oulton seams to have wrecked his season. He seemed to go backwards all weekend at Donington. I'm not sure good results in the final 3 rounds will be enough to keep his seat at Samsung Honda next year.

A look at the timing sheets and speed trap figures show that Jon was one of the fastest guys in the first sector down Craner and well up there through the second but was struggling on the straights. Same as Cadwell, in the first race he was dead last through the speed trap on the start and finish and 21st on the back straight. Hard to defend against.

The speed trap in sector one at Donington is positioned in such a place that a good exit from the old hairpin gives you a good speed trap figure and JK has always been good through sector one at the Donington then you need power in sector 2 to get a fast lap time.
I dont know without looking at the data whether JK is down on power or confidence after his 2 big Oulton crashs, probably a bit of both but he will be back on form soon.
Good luck to John and all the BSB riders at the up and coming round at Assen.
