Before we go praising Splitlath the P5 achieved by Smrz was 99% Smrz and 1% Splitlath.Smrz could achieve the same result on any of the bikes on track today with the exception of the Ducati.
A world class rider who qualifies on the front row regular in WSBK.
He posted a 1.36.5 and stood on the rostrum here in april so i hope the Aprilia holds together and he could spring a suprise.

Well, the fact is that many BSB guys probably race at Assen for the first time in their career, whereas Smrz has been here countless times and it's probably his the most favourit track.

Earlier in the year Samsung Honda along with Scassa and Lowry from Padgetts racing team had a private test at Assen and posted somewhere on the net something along the lines'we had a good test and were not that far away from WSBK times'
2 seconds plus away today to match WSBK times and that is a lot to find tommorrow.
May be they were fibbing as they had to baffle their bikes for noise regulations which would lose them power.
As Stargater says most of the riders in BSB have raced at Assen in the past.
Karl Harris and Burrell in SSTK 1000 and i think Luke Quigley raced in European Stock 1000 at Assen once.
