Despite bossing practice and quali, I doubt Alex will stay top tomorrow. This will be his 6th pole yet he's never come close to winning a race. Hope he proves me wrong tomorrow!!

Alex has the speed, as does Sam !They have the bikes that might serve them well for consistency during the race .Unlike Tom Sykes case with Kawa, where the slowing down in the last part of the race might not be asigned entirely to the rider after all.

As you well know Michael manors is a big house in the country, serve the fighting Irish logo proud and leave blue paint on the side of that Swan Yamaha.

The format change has turned the championship into a cup competition, rather than a league one, to some extent. Whether that's an improvement or not is a personal thing, but as has been noted ad nauseum, it's been set up that way from the start. If Lowes wins it, he's been very economical in his approach. Last season's finale was one of the greatest bike racing moments, so something was right about it.

Fair play to lowes, he is riding well but i cant help thinking that somethig is going on. He has not really had consistant form all year and gowland looked like the man, then coming up to the showdown it is like he has switched teams (with what looks like) much more performance from his bike. Do they ever check bikes out. i know he got help from ten kate for assen as he rode for them. I like alex lowes but dont think he is suddenly better than the other title fighters without there being a helping hand. Also why did gowland leave the team?? Cant be from the reason in press as he wouldnt be back riding already. Maybe wasnt getting same kit which would explain alot before the showdown!! good luck to him but if he wins the british superbike lottery needs looking at as it is totally flawed.
