He said to Whit on the grid he was going to use a tyre he had not tried and presumably not had the bike set correctly for it, seems a bit daft to start taking such gambles at this stage of the championship.

Just waiting for this weeks MCN to see what excuse Hill will be using for managing to go backwards again. Maybe he feels that Alex Lowes riding at the front of the pack was not legitimate. Hopefully Hill will leave BSB as I am getting bored of his excuses.

No disrespect to Tommy, but I still think the whole 'show down' thing is completely unnecessary. Shakey Byrne was the rightful champion last year, imo.
It would be great karma to see Shakey grab it now.

You get a choice of 2 compounds of slick for sbk.sci and sc2.
Haga and Hill between them had approx 4 hours track time at their disposal before qualifying and then a morning warm up to see if the sc2 or sc1 would be the race tyre.
If you get to the race and still don't know what tyre to use it is poor team management.
Samsung Honda after 3 free practice sessions still found it necessary in the middle of qualifying to shorten the chain to get the correct gearing or swingarm lenght.

I do feel sorry for Hill, but that's the way the showdown works, bad luck, doesn't matter how good you are dring the season, it's the last 3 rounds that count!
It will be ironic if shakey does win the title this year having missed 2 race meetings (i think) due to injury once he'd made the showdown.

Yeah it will only be justice if Shakey wins it.

The showdown format is a farce though.

It would be funny if Lowes won, I wouldn't be surprised to see him do well in the last round.

I like Ivor Bueb would love to see Alex win the title but i cannot remember in all my years involved with and watching BSB ever seeing Shakey not do well at Brands.
It will be a good weekends entertainment.
After listening to Myles Schofield and Alex when interviewed i got the impression that WFR and Alex have achieved their goal this season with a rider in the shootout and Alex's first wins outright in SBK and anything else is a bonus, but it would be nice to see Alex win the title. No matter what the outcome at Brands WFR have definately been the team of the year.WELL DONE.

It would be a good end to the season if Shakey wins the title . But i can see him having a fight on his hands with Alex Lowes . What a turn round that has been . WFR have really worked wonders for him . Like the rest of you i will be eagerly watching every moment .
