Alex Lowes and WFR Honda hold onto fourth in the overall standings, despite failing to see the chequered flag once at Brands Hatch.

That's why Shakey overtook Brookes in the last race.
He knew Lowes was behind him and didn't want the inevitable to happen taking him out.
Lowes is quick, but jeez, does he leave his brain cells at home?

Always contentious issues to call on, but the impression i got from the weekend is Alex's riding is starting to look a little bit dirty and desperate now.

The Paddock hill bend incident was just a straightforward accident though, and nothing that Michael Laverty hasnt done similar himself at least once (Kirkham/Croft last year) but he had already mentioned during the weekend that Alex had put him on the grass, and i saw a bit of rough stuff round Druids as well....

I like the Lowes boys though, and i'd like to think that Alex would listen to his peers if he needed a bit of guidance and restraining.... but ultimately he is hugely talented and in a few years he wont need to ride rough because he probably would have cleared off!!

I think he clipped the kerb with his footpeg when trying to avoid rubbing with Laverty because Laverty cut his nose off. These things happen & people slating him should get on a bike & race it before they say anything.

Lowes has had a brilliant end to the year & he'll be a better rider next year & he'll be in contention for the championship.

@LIam48
Totally agree with you . It's so easy for some to pass comment from the comfort of their arm chair .
I must say that i do think the championship should be decided over the season not at a couple of tracks at the end of it . Also i wouldn't say Shakey didn't deserve it but he was always odds on to take it with three out of five races at Brands .
