Alastair Seeley sets his sights on a return to the British Supersport Championship he won in 2011, a move that will see him leave Tyco Suzuki.

hardly surprising really, having won both the supersport and superstock titles (at first attempts as well?) and yet struggling on the superbike on both seasons he was onboard, it was hard to know where to turn next for the team

Good luck to him though, he is cracking racer, great to watch, you always want the cameras on him. I think he would be worth a tilt at WSS, should at least aim for some wild card rides next year.

Seeley really really talked himself up for this year, to the point of being arrogant. Then there was his NW200 bad behaviour. So tbh Ive found it funny seeing him not get good results this year as have others on twitter (Crutchlows sarcastic 'I thought Seeley was going to win the title this year' is a good exp) and am glad to see him part ways with the team.

Hopper has already confirmed he is taking a year off in 2013 to get fit again.

A random one but worth a go - Chris Vermuelen?

Class act, fit again, showed in MotoGP this year he's lost none of his skill, just needed his fitness back. I think that, like Hopper, he'd be a title contender. Plus he raced in the UK before so he'll know the circuits (albeit 12 or so years ago)

I really think this was on the cards,he sat on 95 points from mid season on the same bike as Brookes, something has been said to him cause he didn't want to get anymore points you could see it happening every week. It will all come out in the wash.

I hate press releases that are not correct, he did NOT win the British Superstock Championship how ever he did win the National Superstock Championship.
