Colin Wright - no chance. He has been offered management roles since being at GSE (most notably at BMW WSB) but is earning a mint as a director for GSE

Jack Valentine - unlikely. The bike won't be competitive and Jack will be after a proper set up with a proper chance of winning. Lets face it, the MV won't be competitive until a few years of proper development have occurred at best! STP proved that and that's why no one in WSB will touch the bikes

I hope this goes through and MV is successful because it will further highlight that the BSB is the best national race series going, but don't expect any podiums for a while from the MV!!

There's no way Ekerold would leave Swan. He manages the best team in the paddock and has turned them from an average setup to probably the only team in the UK that could compete on the WSBK stage. Why on earth would he leave Swan to join an unproven team and bike.

Like this m8 say, Money dont buy everythingh!! Dont tell me that the F4 rr is a superior bike because the only departement where this bike stants out for any Japonese superbike is on the materials they used, as allways the ohlins suspension and Carbon parts.. him terms of riding, fell and performance the MV is no mach.. IF this bike was build by the name of Hyosung the bike could have 4 exausts and other preety parts that all people would say is rubish, but since the name they used is so big like Mv agusta people just feel in love, the bike can be real **** that what the owners will say is just is a speacial bike is diferente you feel diferente..lolo THis bike had a lot to prove and its on racing that manufactrs build there name, i would by first one Aprilia or Ducati insted of one MV Agusta.. People just buy the bike to say i have one MV Agusta WOW im cool yeah baby..ahahah Let this guys prove on race if the bike is really that good if had the potencial people would expect o

expect of one MV Agusta.. No doubt that if they won BSB him 2013 they will defenatly have my respect and i will wach this bike with other eyes.. Until now this is just a preety top model that is very fragile and never give you the feel on corners and dont have speed to beat one zx 10r on the staight line.lolo The bike can be call Corsa Curta or be call RR or MV RRRR Super RACING that does not impress me if they can t be the fastest bike on sale today and win races on sonday.. like i say before MV Agusta is not only a business this manufactor was better then that on the past!!

@ oneandonly

I am happy you felt that way about my comment as that was exactly what I was aiming for.

At the end of the day, I am happy you like it. I don't. That's the end of it.

As my previous post was (rather cynically) illustrating, thank the pope we have subjective opinions. I am not the only person to feel that the MV is an over priced bike. But I bet you're not the only one who loves them. So the balance is restored.

Just reading these posts and i see two remarks that stand out, these are from Vilas and nick636, The comments are about speed and power of that of a MV and ZX10-R, well if you know anything about bikes and top end speed and power gains, you need too study first, and stop reading motorcyclist journalist rubbish. Getting torque and power to the floor via the magic ratios of the gearbox is the key. Put the MV against a ZX10R on the track, both stock bikes and your powerhorse of a ZX10R will run out of puff as simple as that, it would fail to keep up with the MV.

Lets do a reality check here

An 'obscure' relatively untried bike being run by an independant dealer...unless MV bank roll it I dont see this making a big splash on the BSB grid.

I hate being a pessimist as i would love to see them out there along with loads of other marques...but i think its more likely they will be at the back of the grid, if they make it there at all. I really hope im wrong though!

Jack Valentine will make a bad project even worse. He's like Rob Mac, only in it for himself. Theres only one man that can make this work, providing the monies are in place, and that is Colin Wright.
