"We're proud to increase our Profits in the Superstock and Triumph Triple Challenge classes for 2013, cementing our position and stopping other manufacturers getting a look in,” thought Pirelli Marketing Manager Jim Worland.
We will make a fortune with tyres not fit for the UK temperatures that last 5 laps again.

I thought the Racetecs and Supercorsa's were pretty much the same tyre?

I've bought Racetec Interacts K2's from a guy doing National Superstock and comfortably managed two trackdays out of them on most circuits.

Are the Pirelli's no good?

When we competed against the other tyre manufacturers we found that we we unable to compete. We totally got our butts kicked week in, week out. So we thought we would buy all the championships cos that's the only way we can dish out podium caps. Said marketing manager Jim Worland.

is this the same pirelli who suffer punctures in f1, can't make a wet last race half race distance in wsb and also has riders routinely complain of quality assurance issues such as 'the tyre dropped off after 5 laps'?
Sounds like they are over stretching themselves. let's hope it doesnt effect the quality. let alone allowing for other manufacturers to get a look in and develop some rival rubber.
