Irwin is certainly a rising prospect for this championship, but there's an elephant in the room... Where will Jack Kennedy spring up, now his ride has gone elsewhere? BSB seats are at a premium with both the top Yamaha and Kawasaki squads looking a bit iffy due to lack of sponsorship! I've no doubt he'll land a ride , but it'll be interesting to see who with...

Irwin rode brilliantly last season and all on a privately backed Yamaha R6 and gave a lot of the top riders a run for their money, particularly towards the end of the season. He is quick and given a Mar-train Yamaha next season he will definitely be on podium on a number of occasions with a good chance of it being in 1st place.
