BSB » Shane Byrne to stay in BSB

"The option of staying with my championship winning team on a great bike in BSB was too strong a temptation to resist" - Shane Byrne.

Think Shaky's made a good call here - both times he's previously gone to world championships he's come back with his tail between his legs after unimpressive spells, and he looks well set for a fourth title for next year?

As for the MotoGP bike, maybe Alex Lowes, or Tommy Hill if he can be persuaded out of sabbatical? They look like the best Brits without a 2013 ride sorted.

A very wise decesion from Shakey, why would he want to hack all over the world when the best series ever BSB is on our doorstep, apart from the Showdown thing!!
Farmer along for the ride too, what a team, cant wait till next year,

Oi MartinJSUK "came back with his tale between his legs" in your obvious expert opinion did you not notice what he was riding when in Worlds? Would be the same now on that CRT thing in GP's.

I really wish Shakey had got a shot on top kit in WSBK or GP's.

Yeh he can win BSB all day , thats because his natural ability and now experience is out classing the pack. Unfortunately that means nothing if you cant get competetive machinery in the other classes. I dont reckon we'll ever see it now.

Well he (Shakey) cant make it at any other championship he's proved that BSB counts for nothing these days no competition like the early days and i bet MSVR have paid him to stay like they do others!
