How can you call Aussie racing club racing?
Wayne maxwell and josh waters race at 32's around Phillip Island on pretty standard machinery, that's better then half of the WSBK riders!!. Billy mcconnel struggled to win races in the aussie superstock 600 But he is over there winning races in supersport.. The only difference is that here in Australia we don't have the money compared to other countries.

Back in the day when Bayliss was first around it wasn't about the money. Your raw talent was enough to get you somewhere but now all the little rich kids are the ones getting places over the talent. We have the same problem here in Australia too but no where near as bad as the world stage or just Europe in general..

Don't care where this kid is from he is a great talent and will be an asset to the series, a better investment by far than tired old Nori Haga for example.

He will rattle a few cages next year, he's had time on the tracks, he's familiar and comfortable with the team, provided the bike is competitive I'd expect him to be on the podium on several occasions....

PJ is a good young talent. I know some folks in the UK think the AMA is rather amateur, but it currently has some incredible talent. I was at Mid-Ohio during a trackday with the likes of PJ, Corey West and Brett McCormick. All those guys are insanely fast... I can't believe McCormick hasn't been snatched up by WSBK or BSB for 2013.
