Good luck Matteo and welcome to BSB!

Also it is very nice to hear a Team Principal thanking and singing the praises of former rider Scott Smart - obviously well deserved. Best of luck in 2013 Smartie Pants!

Well, let's hope this is a more serious project than we have seen from Ducati over the past few seasons.
As a long-term Ducati owner & fan, I've been frustrated by the lack of effort in BSB since the Airwaves Ducati team - trivial and embarrassing.
Fans & customers deserve much better.

This is a small private team right? Does it have anything to do with Ducati themselves other than being a dealer? They certainly don't pretend to be a factory team. I bet Ducati give them no funding at all. I'm amazed these little teams keep going, how do they do it?

Blimey a team thanking there departing rider, a first in recent BSB methinks, some change so quick even the teams not sure who will be turning up!! Good luck to Moto Rapido and also good luck the Scott Smart, both are a credit to the sport and deserve a push forward duirng the coming season and with Baiocco on board there must be some proper stuff coming rapido's way, fingers crossed!

I rate Baiocco, but I rate him a fair bit more than I do the Panigale.

I hope Moto Rapido are getting a good dollop of support from the factory because without it, even though MR are a pretty high class professional act in their own right, chances are Matteo is going to struggle.

I reckon Scott Smart's (who's one of the technically shrewedest riders) departure has a lot to do with him loosing hope at the prospect of trying to spend another season polishing a 7urd.
