True, but he's right in the respect that it's always been the same, even in the 500cc days, and more so now that unless you are on the rigth bike you will never win. The factories dont want and wont let the satalite riders beat the factory ones. THB CRT is racing at its best true the teams with the biggest budget will have the better bikes but they are not limited by internal politics. who in their right mind, if they are used to winning wants to go to a championship where the odds are so stacked against you, you have no chance?. Unless of course you are a journeyman and only their to fill the grid for the paycheque. Norick Abe in 500's and now Edwards spring to mind.

mabey if he proved himself more in wsb or moto gp he would have been offered a better bike.inferior bikes never stopped Jermy McWilliams from giving it his all and "wobbling" his way to the podium.or Sykes making good of what was an inferior bike in wsb.his remarks sound arrogant to me.bitter mabey?

Norick Abe a journeyman to fill grid slots? Norick Abe? One of Rossi's most respected inspirations? One of the quickest riders Rossi's ever seen? The rider who spawned Rossi's love of motorbike racing?

Yeah, what a payrider.

I really hope he wins the BSB championship this year to make him an all time great at BSB. Hopefully he can even go on to win more in the future. One of the nicest guys in the paddock.

i f you saw ride Norick Abe, you should know well he is a real honor rider...use to ride with top guys with inferior machine...and wins GP against the best...
Shakey, as some others...show kudos skills,
that Proton KR with KTM engine...or with that Ducati 1098R...dont judge without count circunstances...

Shakey has the potential to acheive his ambition, and the ability to make news-worthy quotes. He's a really pleasant bloke so don't read too much into his pre-season hype- all the riders are making statements to big-up their propspects.
You don't have to break records to be great. Think John Reynolds, Hizzy, McKenzie, Haslam snr, and a few select others.

Theres some real cockers on this site, the complete lack of knoledge and total bias is grat to read.

Proove himself in WSBK etetc the bike he was on was S@@T. The Aprillia in Gp's ws an experiment.

He has NEVER had the chace of championship winning teams at World level.

As far as the Sykes comment, theres no point in even responding to it, idiotic.

Shake is probably THE most naturally talented rider ever out of the UK, if you dont hav the Kit you dont win!

Bynre show a lot of wisdom, there are really only four winning rides in MotoGP. You can race as hard as you can, risk it all and maybe finish fifth. Or, race as hard as you can, risk it all and win in BSB. I know what I'd chose and so does Shane!
