Moving to WSBK or MotoGP is 'upward'? I'm not so sure. Also the upheaval in WSBK with Dorna and the EVO thing means no-one knows what it'll turn out to be. With Dorna running the show, I'm not in the least confident and am expecting a complicated rules hotch-potch and a biased 2-tier political mess (just like a Production MotoGP mess).

SMR are a top-flight BSB outfit winning races and in with a genuine shot at success. Does Shaun Muir seriously want to trade a prestigious top team position in a proper racing series for an 'extra's' role in the MotoGP pantomime (or WSBK pantomime if Dorna stuff that up too)?

Shaun - SMR won't be allowed to actually RACE in MotoGP - you'll surrender independence and competitiveness to be there, & SMR will fade into mediocrity and obscurity - and won't be able to do a thing about it.
