I'm always complaining about MotoGP manipulation & I know some will say this exclusion is to keep the showdown fight close and the needle between the 2 main protagonists in SB & AL.

BUT.... Alex hit Shakey hard and before the apex which was a LOT more than a touch and took another rider out. Alex made a big mistake and the penalty is justified and IMO appropriate.

Now all can move on and hopefully these 2 can have a fair fight to the title. The way these 2 have been going I can't see anyone else winning it, though Ellison might be a spoiler - he's going well & just needs some luck.

what a shame, if lowes had reigned his head in a bit he could have easily done the double as he clearly smoked ellison in race 2 even with a broken bike!!!
ah well, fair punshiment i gotta say, anyways it still keeps the championship tight which is good for the spectators. Now go on Alex, will be interesting to see how the lad puts this incident behind and guns for the double at Silverstone!! cmon mate you can do it!!!!

Lets hope the Kawasaki rider isn't hurt long term . Could have been much worse.
Hope he can bounce back and be competitive at Silverstone.
Loving the BSB here in NZ.

obviously Alex deserved to be disqualified. To be honest i am happy for him but sorry for Shakey because Alex went to Kawasaki garage and tried to fight with Sofuoglu's staff and yell after Silverstone. The other fact is Sam said that Sofuoglu did it on purpose so Sam now should look to How Shakey act like a pro and must get some tips from him. That is profession, Sam's not.. On the other hand, Sofuoglu shaked Laverty's hand after his imola 2010 kamikaze then he never opened that case that is profession.. Lowes brothers now lose lots of respect thats for sure...

tough penalty, but understandable. Shakey was lucky he wasnt badly hurt - its usually the unexpected or total surprise crashes that have more chance of broken bones.

The penalty also throws down a marker to the other guys that the showdown isnt a demolition derby!

cracking close racing though - some good close moves in race 1 - had me wincing!
