I hope he does it,All things considered, except for one slight mistake,Alex has been nothing but a credit to BSB this year and if rumours are to be believed, won't be here next year.
Very hard on Shakey, especially after the heroics at Silverstone but he's been there and done it and will probably do it again next year.
Given the respective experience these two have,ii think Alex deserves it and would give him the confidence togo on to greater things next year.
go on Alex!

i agree with you. Winning the title will give alex a nice boost as he heads off. But for the life of me i dont know why he wants to jump on a backmarker bike. no matter how hard you ride it youll end up losing stock for a better ride the following year. Unless Birdy can secure the last RCV1000R Honda remaining...

I've been puzzled by both brothers choices in regards to the next step in their careers to be honest.
Alex potentially on Birdie's backmarker but as mentioned by RaceCrafter, if he gets that Honda then maybe not so bad.
In regards to Sam, he is going on the Moto2 Speedup machine...now as WSS champion surely he deserves a front running bike? And surely one of the top running teams would want him? Given that Gino Rea was on it last time out and qualified outside the top 20 (as did the other riders on it) it doesn't seem that competitive.
Interested in other peoples thoughts on this :)
