Ryuichi Kiyonari's 2013 MCE British Superbike Championship season is over after injury forces him to withdraw from the final round at Brands Hatch.

Shame.
Kiyo has delivered some truly astonishing BSB rides over the years so it's sad to see such a disappointing season end with a whimper.
I don't think we will be seeing Kiyo again in the UK, so good luck wherever life takes you next.

Just shows that they need to change the format of BSB. The shootout is a joke, Kiyo if he stayed fit actually had a chance of winning it, especially when you consider the no scores from Brookes, Byrne, Lowes and Ellison. By pure luck, there is still a championship to go for.

Yeah it has been a bit gutting to watch him in his last two BSB seasons knowing what he is capable of.
I remember him taking the double at Donnington in '08 in world supers.

I wish him all the best whatever.
