That was one of the best races I've ever seen, still a real shame that the weather played a part mind.

Those last few laps from Lowes were pretty special, he was using all the track and brushing the white lines in the wet, you could see how much he wanted it.

Fair play to both Shakey and Alex, they both deserved it and what an end to a brilliant season from both of them.

Roll on next year's racing!!!

whats going off with this stupid rule that once you drop the bike you cant rejoin the race even when there is nothing wrong with the bike.
that could have cost lowes the title or won it for shaky had he not crashed as well.

Brilliant weekends racing. Brookes was man on the meet without doubt but the weekend will only be remembered for the battles between Shakey and Lowes on Saturday and Sunday. The Showdown may be unpopular but it made for an exciting title fight this year. It really could have gone either way all the way till the last lap. If Shakey hadn't over cooked a couple of corners it would have been decided at Clark Curve and the dash to the line. The fans who braved the weather were amazing

BSB is proper racing, and all these guys deserve massive respect for the way they rode in those conditions.

No TC and big power, you could see thay the riders were using their SKILL to feel out the grip and the racing was fantastic.

Both riders deserved the title - shame only 1 can win. Shakey's 'burn from the stern' to keep his challenge alive in slippy conditions was masterful, and the young pretender rode brilliantly not to crack under the immense pressure Shakey applied.

BSB outshines WSBK, and shows MotoGP up to be the farcical nonsense that it is. Terrific news that BSB will be on Eurosport till 2020 too, so at least I'll get to watch the very best racing on TV - I WON'T be lining Ezpeleta's pockets to watch MotoGP farce on BT Sport - even WITH all the British lads in 2014. If it was proper racing I would - but it isn't.
