Kawasaki seems to be taking over any superbike class which is superstock or close to it. Hopefully that'll mean that Jon'll have something he can show his talent on.
Jon Kirkham's obviously a properly fast rider but has had the chance of showing what he can do on a decent bike and hasn't managed to come up with those last hundredths that someone like Alex is able to. As far as I'm concerned, he's got to perform next year and good luck to him!

I'd agree that of the Japanese manufacturers Kawasaki is the bike of choice as Honda, Yamaha & Suzuki haven't produced a new model in donkey's years and are clearly out-classed.
At World Superstock level though, the BMW and the Panigale have dominated this past season. As BSB moves to essentially Superstock rules with slick tyres I would expect the BMW to be that much more competitive so is Kirkham making the right choice to go to a smaller, one-bike team which will have a much lower profile than the more established Kawasaki runners?
