Great stuff!
At least Mallory has a chance now. I is going to be difficult for the new team to get the circuit up and running again but the good news is they are real racing people and not doing it to try and make a fast buck.
I wish then sucess and encourage people to support them in the best way possible and attend as many meetings at Mallory as they can next year.

Well done & good luck to Stuart & all concerned,it would be such a shame to see Mallory Park disappear.Lets all get behind them & make it happen, & prove "Greavesit" WRONG.
I'll be visiting Mallory next year as many times as i can,it's a great race track.

Not racing people???

Stuart Hicken has run his own race team for many years and is one of the few team principals who gets fully involved in the 'oily bits' as he prepares the engines for his BSB team. The Buildbase team (Hawk Racing) has nowhere near the budget of some of the other teams but due to his management they make the very best of what they have got which will be a very useful skill for running Mallory which will always have a fairly small income compared to other curcuits.

Eddie Roberts was a club racer for many years and now works in the BSB paddock for Pirelli so he is also a racing person in my mind.

I wish them luck!

Great memories of racing that circuit as a hungover teenager, and that's before they put in the chicanes. Let's hope the residents behave themselves this time, or is the UK still biased towards curtain twitching busy bodies.

Dialogue with all parties concerned and an understanding of what Mallory means to 100's of thousands of people in this Country and throughout the World, will make Mallory Park return to the Glory days of the 70's and 80's. Many of us grew up visiting Mallory nearly every week from watching Ago, Cooper, Saarinen and Bazzer and even the new Manager Stuart Hicken on the Vandettas tearing up that hallowed tarmac. With co-operation and a will to succeed the locality can only benefit from a successful Mallory Park for the next decade and beyond. Good luck to Stuart and Eddie and all concerned.
