Surely a move to a cheaper class like BSS or even BSSt would be a good idea. If you want to properly race in BSB you need the bike but crucially also the suspension and electronics expertise, I don't she has any of these. Without that you may just end up looking worse than you are and that destroys your confidence.

I do wish her all the best though because she's already shown her courage and determination simply by putting her front wheel on the grid and qualifying for the race.

@LLarry "I genuinely wish her well BUT she will be bringing up the rear for yet another season."
I, too, wish her well. She has the noos to get together a team and fund a season, and she has the balls (not literally, of course) to compete in what is truthfully a man's sport.
True, she won't often trouble the points scorers, but without the also-rans there would be very sp**** grids.
She's racing purely for the love of racing, and there's nowt wrong with that.
Go, girl !

Don't disagree with you at all Tetley but the story here is about her pushing on to achieve top ten finishes in 2014. That simply is not going to happen with her current level of kit / support no matter how hard she tries.
Nobody doubts her ability, determination or 'balls' - her performance at the TT should have dispelled any such doubts. But she will need to either get a ride with a better, established team or a sponsor with deep pockets to get the competitive package needed to challenge anywhere near the top ten.

It's more improtant as a female that she competes in the top class. Any supersport achievements would be tainted with 'girl on a little bike' put downs, so any points gained in the senior class are worth 20 in a support series.

@LLarry "she will need to either get a ride with a better, established team or a sponsor with deep pockets to get the competitive package needed to challenge anywhere near the top ten."
I agree whole heartedly, Llarry. The "aiming for top ten" quote is the pre-season claim that all the non top ten riders make at the start of each season. They have to talk-up their chances to attract sponsors and supporters, to boost team morale, and to maintain their own focus and determination.
For example, Foggy admits to making deliberately optimistic claims to motivate himself into achieving them, so I'm sure that Jenny Tinmouth is similarly setting herself goals to aim for.
Let's face it, none, not one, not any rider approaches a season with a press release saying "I suppose I'll be at the back of the grid, as usual".

All the best to Jenny, just getting to where she has is an achievement.

As others have said though, I fear it will be more of the same this year. On a par with Colin Edwards saying he'll be top 5 in MotoGP this year or Pata Honda challenging consistently with the same ancient bikes, everyone talks themselves up pre-season.

Jenny Wish you all the Very Best and all the Luck you can get !! Shame you cannot get back to the Isle Man for the TT where 3 years ago we over there saw what you really are capable of ! Still the fastest woman on the Island and many blokes ill behind that speed ! Again Good Luck !!
But I really am sure you would make a Big Impression on the Roads ! and be at the front end more often than not !
Must be good for your sponsers and fans as well
Right see you at the NW 200 Jenny !!!
