Rain is the great leveler. Beat all the big boys (except an injured Ellison) fair and square. Deserves the win and all the praise in my opinion.

Not forgetting the other two on the podium as well. All three out rode, arguably, all the top boys.

The series would be more interesting if the Tyco boys could get those old gixxers in the mix. Better yet, get in the showdown, then anything can happen.

More competition makes for better racing and anticipation from us loyal fans, IMHO.
