Right on Willan. Lets not forget that Ellison held the two up throughout the race.ON A PRIVATEER BIKE I was on the edge of my seat. Ellison eventually let Hill and Hopkins through. As you say Shakey Byrne got the most points and he won the race by miles.and truthfully won the championship aswell as he scored the most points. It was a brilliant race and Ellison got snubbed as usual. I thought they would interview him at the end of the race . but they didn't

Tommy did not win the race. Lets not forget Shane Byrne. and Ellison throughout the race,Bringing his bike out of a garage that had two people working on it all week end. and the points Tommy won throughout the championship season were not as high as Shane Byrne. But congratulations to him. But still dont feel as though he won the title and I bet he doesn't either.

Factory yamaha, against suzuki (home tuned) Tommy should hang his head in shame he only won like that. Everybody is so exited about a National championship gods teeth get real - i guess tom is the next Sheene then. Dont get me wrong but you can see this type of racing at any club meeting around the country, BSB should be a steping stone to the better championships NOT a goal in itself. Move on get behind the riders we have in the big championships

Yep that is motorcycle racing, and what is more couldn't care less if it was Stoner, Rossi whatever, what I want most for Xmas in MotoGp is this and irrespective of who it is a bit of ballz out racing and congrats at the end for a great race rather than (and they all do it) bitching and moaning.

Wow. THAT is motorcycle racing. Great job for both Hill and Hopkins: Hill gets the championship and Hopkins gets a well-earned new lease on life as a top racer.
