Q&A: Camier and Guintoli.

With three race victories from four starts, Leon Camier heads into this Monday's third round of the ViSK British Superbike Championship with an eleven point lead over superstar rookie Sylvain Guintoli, winner of race one at the Brands Hatch season opener.

Here, Airwaves Yamaha rider Camier and new Worx Crescent Suzuki signing Guintoli discuss their excellent start to the season and looks ahead to this weekend's third round at Donington Park...

Q:
Are you looking forward to racing at Donington Park?
Sylvain Guintoli: I'm definitely looking forward to racing at Donington Park. It's the first track that I've been to this season that I have previous racing experience at, due to my time in MotoGP. I live in a village about 20 minutes away from the circuit, so it also feels like my home round.
Leon Camier: Yes definitely. I know the guys at Airwaves Yamaha have been working hard on developing the bikes since Oulton Park so I can't wait to see how we go.

Q:
Where do you think the race will be won or lost?
Sylvain Guintoli: I think experience will play a part in deciding where the race will be won or lost. The good thing for us is that I know the circuit very well.
Leon Camier: In the last few corners, from the chicane down to Melbourne Hairpin and then the last corner itself. I think this is where we'll be at a slight disadvantage on the Airwaves Yamaha so we'll focus our work here at the start of the weekend.

Q:
Where does Donington Park rate among your favourite circuits?
Sylvain Guintoli: I do like Donington Park as I've had some good races there, so it always feels like a very positive place.
Leon Camier: I really like Donington Park. I like that it's fast and flowing but still quite a technically challenging circuit.

Q:
What are your fondest memories of the circuit?
Sylvain Guintoli: I met my wife there in 2003, so I'd have to say that this is my strongest memory of the circuit. It's brought me some good times, and some trouble too!
