I know that pp916 and Why Not fully understand the above, but the Crash article does not explain the situation and to the casual observer reading this thread it would appear to be a nonsense.

Next year will be much simpler as all the bikes will comply with one set of rules (a sort of Supersport tuned Evo superbike) - However perhaps they will add the complication back in by running a Privateers cup championship within BSB like they used to before Evo was introduced - so that riders like Muff will have a chance of winning something again!
