It's all well and good stating how much is spent on safety equipment, but the facts are that the marshals do their jobs for free, the riders and teams have to pay for no fiscal rewards, the sponsors (Nissan, Stihl, Swan, Monster, Fuchs etc) are paying for their publicity and the non-MSVR circuits have to tender to host their round.

Surely a price can't be put on human lives, so less money could be spent on the snazzy MSVR shirts/jackets etc and more on safety equipment to look after the people that are lining their pockets "week in week out."
