The "more deserving brits" have been riding these tracks for how long and still cant do anything. Josh won two Australian superbike titles on the suzuki and he proved at brands how good he is when he was on the kwaka. Riding in the wet all comes down to riders ability and he proved that. With the help of hopper I think that josh can be a podium threat each round.
When people say aussies work hard its so true. Bayliss never set the world on fire in his first season in BSB and he became a 3 time WSBK champ. Casey stoner struggled to show what he was capable of in his first years overseas and he is possibly the fastest rider ever. I could guarantee you that the likes of Shane Byrne and alex lowes wouldn't go to some aussie tracks and beat Wayne maxwell and josh waters on them tracks that he has been riding for years.
all you brits do is whinge so I dont blame the team managers picking aussies. Its why you struggle to get motogp winners
