HM Plant Honda pair Glen Richards and Joshua Brookes continued to get more mileage under their belts during British Superbike pre-season testing at Almeria, despite bad weather conditions.
With high winds buffeting the Spanish circuit, both Crescent Suzuki and Hydrex Honda chose to sit the day out, leaving HM Plant as the only team on track.
Despite the conditions, both Richards and Brookes managed get between 30 and 40 laps completed, allowing the team to collect more data from the new Honda CBR1000RR.
"The really strong winds made it difficult to do any fast lap times today but both Glen and Josh were able to complete between 30 to 40 laps each to continue their familiarisation with the HM Plant Hondas,” team manager Havier Beltran told the official British Superbike website.
“We were able to do some work on the chassis and the riders positioning on the bike but the weather forecast is looking better for tomorrow so we can only hope it improves."
The teams have one more day of testing remaining.
