Kawasaki teams to test in Spain

Kawasaki's British Superbike Championship representatives will get ready for the start of the new season by taking a trip to Spain to test alongside their World Superbike counterparts.

The Japanese manufacturer has invited teams from the British, Spanish, Swiss and Austrian Superbike series' to join their factory Superbike and Supersport teams for a test in Valencia this week.

The two-day outing has been arranged so the Kawasaki World Superbike team and the Provec Motocard.com Supersport team can conduct a crucial test before the series heads to the Spanish circuit for the third round of the championship in April.

However, it will also be a chance for the national teams to collect data too, with technical staff from Kawasaki Motors Europe on hand to provide information on set-ups.

Kawasaki will be represented by two teams in this year's British Superbike Championship, with MSS Colchester and Builsbase entering a pair of ZX-10Rs each for Simon Andrews, Julien Da Costa, John Laverty and Tristan Palmer.
