Following their headline-grabbing turn during the season opener at Brands Hatch, Hydrex Honda are looking for more of the same as the ViSK.com British Superbike Championship heads north to Oulton Park for round two.

Karl Harris and Stuart Easton proved the pace setters during two days of free practice and although race day didn't live entirely up to expectations, a maiden podium for Easton was a fine result amongst strong competition.

Nonetheless, Harris, who admits he was rattled by a necessary switch to his spare bike before the races, is determined to put his strong early form to good use and challenge for that maiden victory.

"After the first few days hitting the top practice times I was buzzing, I don't know what happened on race day, we had to change from our number one bike and I just didn't relax like I should and this affected me.

"I have got my personal trainer with me at Oulton and I know having him around will help me prepare better and take the practice form into the two races. Oulton is one of my favourite circuits and I would love to hit form and get my first BSB win there."

With Easton getting the chance to compete on the international stage with Kawasaki over the weekend, team owner Shaun Muir is confident a recent test at Snetterton will see them fighting at the front again at Oulton Park.

"We go to Oulton Park on the back of a good opening round at Brands Hatch, and a productive days testing at Snetterton. Both Karl and Stuart are brimming with confidence, they know they have good pace so we need to transfer the practice and qualifying into consistent race results."
