BSB Championship standings: Oulton Park

Two wins have lifted Leon Camier to the head of the British Superbike Championship standings following the second round of the season at Oulton Park.

The Airwaves Yamaha rider was in superb form throughout the weekend, claiming a maiden pole position before proving unstoppable in both races.

An identical podium in both races saw Karl Harris and Sylvain Guintoli stand alongside Camier. For Harris, two second place finishes help him leap up the championship order from 12th to fourth, just two points behind fellow Honda rider Glen Richards and ahead of Hydrex team-mate Stuart Easton.

Despite losing the lead of the standings, Guintoli remains in touch, just 11 points behind Camier and now 25 points up on Richards himself.

Elsewhere, Gary Mason is well placed in seventh overall, while he is also 20 points up on the equally consistent Martin Jessopp in the Cup standings. Other big movers this weekend included Chris Walker and Ian Lowry, up to ninth and 11th respectively.
