Graeme Gowland will return to action for the third round of the British Superbike Championship at Donington Park after recovering well from his shoulder injury.

The Henderson/Motorpoint Yamaha rider was forced to withdraw from the Oulton Park round after hurting himself in a fall during qualifying.

Nonetheless, the former World Supersport rider insists he is feeling fit enough to participate again in the latest round at Donington Park.

"For me the two week gap has given me chance to get my shoulder strong. I have responded well to treatment and feel pretty good, fingers crossed we can get back to business on Monday and work on some results."

With the Rob Mac Racing Superbike team depleted by one following Michael Rutter's decision to quit prior to the event, Chris Walker to the second Henderson/Motorpoint machine is 'hungry' to make amends.

"We are all more than ready to get going again, three weeks off certainly makes you hungry for some action! We have learned much more about the bike with a few tests and time in the workshop so we should be nearer the sharp end this weekend."
