Stuart Easton has risen to third position in the ViSK.com British Superbike Championship standings after scoring a double podium during the latest round at Donington Park.

The Hydrex Honda rider shrugged off an indifferent qualification to get two mighty starts from the outside of the second row, putting him well into the fight for the lead in both races.

Although he didn't quite have the edge to challenge the might of the Airwaves Yamahas over the race distance, Easton was delighted with his improved turn of pace.
