Leon Camier continued where he left off from Snetterton by topping the opening ViSK.com British Superbike Championship free practice session of the weekend at Knockhill.
The Airwaves Yamaha rider, fresh from his sixth place finish on the World Superbike stage at Donington Park less than a week ago, shared the top spot with local rider Stuart Easton for much of the hour before pulling ahead with a best effort of 49.492secs.
Easton remained in close company less than a tenth adrift aboard the Hydrex Honda, while Camier's team-mate James Ellison rounded out the top three after moving up the leaderboard in the latter stages.
Simon Andrews hauled his MSS Colchester Kawasaki up to fourth position, while HM Plant Honda duo Josh Brookes and Glen Richards were fifth and seventh, the pair sandwiching Chris Walker.
Ian Lowry, Karl Harris and Michael Rutter completed the leading positions, the latter having taken a tumble at the Hairpin during the latter stages.
