O'Halloran get Linxcel Seton ride

Jason O'Halloran has signed to ride for the Linxcel Seton Tuning team for the remainder of the 2009 British Supersport Championship.

The former Australian Supersport Champion was recently dropped by the Althea Honda WSS squad, after just one round, having begun the 2009 season with SMT in BSB.

“I'm sure Jason will prove himself to be a valuable asset to the Linxcel Seton Tuning team,” declared team manager Phil Seton. “His professional attitude, willingness to work as hard as the whole team and undoubted ability are the attributes we were looking for from our Supersport rider. We are sure Jason will be able to challenge at the front end of the grid where our Supersport bike deserves to be!”

“Thanks to Phil and the Linxcel Seton Tuning team for the opportunity,” stated O'Halloran. “I'm look forward to working with the whole team. The last three meetings are at circuits I have already visited and I am look forward to running at the front of the Supersport championship for the rest of the year.”

2008 BSS runner-up Hudson Kennaugh left the Linxcel Seton team in mid-August.

O'Halloran will make his debut with the team this weekend at Croft.

Good on you jason!!!! Once again you have shown that you just dont give up. To have the circumstances and disappointments you have been dealt this year and to just keep getting up and dusting yourself off shows everyone exactly what you are made of. Hats off too to Linxcel Seton for seeing the potential Jason has in the BSB, and giving him the opportunity in supersport for the remainder of the year. All the best to everyone at Linxcel Seton this weekend...especially Jason. The tough times never last....tough people do!!!!

Jason made a big move this year from Australia to the UK and would have stayed where he was but the team ran out of funding so he moved to Eurpoe with a team that he was to ride the last 4 Rds but once again after 1 ride the team said no funding to run 2 supersport bikes. So now he is on his way back to BSB to ride Supersport just have to keep trying and see what comes for 2010 one thing I am shore of Jason never gives up and thats all you can do when you are over there.
