Karl Harris continued to lead the way following second free practice for the final round of the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park, while Leon Camier crashed out.

Having been the surprise pace setter during the morning's first session, Harris was once again the leading force in the afternoon, fending off his replacement at Hydrex Honda, Tommy Hill, to complete a superb day for the revitalised SMT Honda team.

Leading a Honda 1-2-3 with Stuart Easton in third, Harris was a tenth faster than Hill and half a second up on his former team-mate too.

Camier, meanwhile, only completed a handful of laps before crashing out at Brittens and being unable to participate in the remainder of the session. He ended up 14th quickest.

Ian Lowry proved to be best of the rest on the Relentless Suzuki, while Simon Andrews made progress on the Kawasaki to set the fifth quickest time.

Chris Walker was the unlikely front runner for Yamaha in sixth, ahead of James Ellison, Glen Richards, Josh Brookes and Julien Da Costa.

The session was red flagged at one stage to clear debris from the crashed Buildbase Kawasaki of newcomer James Hillier.
