PR Racing confirms Jones for 2010

Superstock 600 race winner Luke Jones will graduate to the British Superbike class in 2010 after signing for PR Racing
The 2010 MCE British Superbike grid is continuing to take shape after PR Racing confirmed it has signed promising youngster Luke Jones for its upcoming campaign.

At 21-years-old, Jones is currently the youngest rider to be confirmed to the 2010 grid, the former 125GP champion graduating to Superbikes having been a frontrunner in Superstock 600 for the past two seasons.

Joining Merseyside-based PR Racing, formerly known as Maxxis Adept Racing, for the new season, team manager Julian Mosquera is confident he has poached a future motorcycling star.

"We are delighted to once again be able to bring through and develop young talent into BSB. With Luke's winning pedigree John (Jameson) and I are sure he will do well and establish himself as a name the BSB fans look out for over the coming years.

“I believe his riding style and relaxed attitude will suit him well to the Yamahas R1 and our team structure."

In total, 25 riders have been confirmed to the BSB grid for 2010, almost two months ahead of the opening round at Brands Hatch.
