Easton returns to full training ahead of Oulton

The pre-season title favourite is certain he will be in contention for victory at Oulton Park after returning to training
Stuart Easton says he is 'ready for the races' having returned to full training following the knee injury that has hampered his start to the 2010 MCE British Superbike season.

Despite flashes of pace at Brands Hatch and Thruxton that belied the nasty injury sustained in a crash just over a week prior to the start of the season, the Scot has struggled more with durability in the races.

Nonetheless, Easton has kept the points ticking over and having stood on the podium last time out at Thruxton, the Swan Honda rider is now certain he can challenge for a repeat of the victory he achieved at Oulton Park last season.

“I'm pretty much back to fitness now, and ready for these races. For the last month, I've only been able to race and not much else, but now I am back in training, my leg is healed and it feels fine.

“I'm on the up now and ready for Oulton, a circuit that I enjoy as it is a bit 'old school'
as it is up hill and down dale. I had a good time there in the last round of last year, taking a win and a second place and my target is to better that.”
