MAP Centurion Triumph drops out 'until further notice'

British Supersport Championship and National Superstock 600 Championship entrant MAP Centurion Triumph has announced that it is to withdraw from competition in 2010 'until further notice'
MAP Centurion Triumph has withdrawn from the 2010 Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship and Metzeler Racetec National Superstock 600 Championship 'until further notice', the team has announced – with financial difficulties understood to be behind the decision.

In Supersport, Daniel Cooper and Allan Jon Venter presently sit respectively eighth and 16th in the standings, with a best finish of fourth for the former in the most recent outing at Oulton Park earlier this month. The team also runs Jimmy Hill and Josh Caygill in Superstock 600.

In a short statement, MAP Centurion Triumph acknowledged that all four riders 'have been informed of the situation and further information will be distributed in due course'.

All riders back on track at Cadwell, Cooper on a Smith's backed Triumph, and the other 3 on Map Group Triumph bikes. So it seems not the whole team have gone due to money. :)
