Walker stays green for Cadwell

Chris Walker will continue to replace the injured Simon Andrews at MSS Colchester Kawasaki during this weekend's Cadwell Park round of the MCE British Superbike Championship.

"Cadwell was good to us last time round where we got our first podium but unfortunately Simon can't be with us,” said team boss Nick Morgan. “He's so nearly ready and would readily jump at the chance to ride but we've got to be sensible, after this round there is a full month where he can be fully fit and we can take him testing to really prepare him for the rest of the season. Chris and Gary are both looking to step up from Oulton and are both really positive.”

Walker, who began the season riding a self-backed Suzuki, finished eighth and eleventh last time out at Oulton Park. "I've always loved Cadwell, it's one of the biggest and best on the calendar,” said Walker.

Team-mate Gary Mason is also looking forward to the event.

“Cadwell Park is a track I really enjoy as it's a real up hill and down dale circuit and there is always a mega crowd for support,” said Mason. “Fingers crossed we will get some good results as I need to try and get into the top six.”

Glad to see Stalker get another go on the MSS bike. He did pretty well at Oulton on an alien bike so will be interesting to see how well he goes now he's more used to the bike and team. All power to him!
