Loris Baz, who will make his BSB debut in place of the injured Andrew Pitt at Croft this weekend, tested for the Motorpoint Yamaha team at Mallory Park earlier this week.

The 17-year-old Frenchman, who usually races an R1 in the European Superstock Championship, managed 60 laps in perfect conditions around the Leicestershire circuit.

"Well that was a pretty good day at the office!" said team principal Rob Mac. "Maybe our luck is changing, the forecast was to rain all day and the sun shone on us and gave Loris a great day on the bike.
