Martin Jessopp has undergone further surgery on his leg as he looks ahead to what he hopes will be a return to British Superbike competition in 2011.

The Ridersmotorcycles.com Ducati rider was enjoying his best season to date when a serious leg injury - sustained in a collision with Dan Linfoot at Mallory Park in June - forced him to skip the remainder of the year.

Though he returned to racing at the recent Macau Grand Prix, Jessopp has gone under the knife once more to fine tune the repair to his leg, removing one of the screws holding the metal rod. This will encourage further bone growth.
