Fitzpatrick returns for BSB Evo

The Close Print Finance Honda rider will again compete in the BSB sub-category in 2011.
Craig Fitzpatrick has become the latest rider to commit to the British Superbike EVO class in 2011 as he looks to build on a solid maiden campaign.

The former British Supersport Cup champion graduated to the inaugural series in 2010 with the Close Print Finance Honda team, finishing eighth overall with a best finish of third at Thruxton.

Remaining with the team for 2011, Fitzpatrick is determined to use his year's experience to become a more frequent front runner this time around.

"We are really looking forward to this season,” he said. “As a team, we learnt so much in 2010 and as a result have changed a lot on the bike in addition to how the team is going to work in 2011. We always knew it would be tough last year to make the step up from the Supersport class and it certainly proved to be challenging.

“With all the knowledge and experience that both myself and the team gained, we are aiming to make a big improvement this year. Things are progressing well at the moment, we just have a few things to sort out before we head to Spain for some pre season testing. I can't wait for it all get under way at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend."
