Bridewell: I’ve learned a lesson

"I like Oulton Park and we know it suits this bike so I'm really looking forward to challenging for the podium again" - Tommy Bridewell.
After claiming his first ever BSB podium in race one of the Brands Hatch season-opener, Tyco Honda's Tommy Bridewell is aiming to strengthen his position as a top six Title Fighter during this weekend's Oulton Park round.

Bridewell, riding Ryuichi Kiyonari's 2010 title winning bike, grabbed his debut rostrum from Stuart Easton in the closing seconds of race one, but lost valuable points when he crashed in race two.

"The aim is to stay in the top six all season and that's where I am after Brands Hatch,” said Bridewell, who is level on points with Dan Linfoot.

“I'm bitterly disappointed that I crashed out in race two as the points I'd have gained would have had me third in the series, but I've learned a lesson and that won't happen in future.

“I like Oulton Park and we know it suits this bike so I'm really looking forward to challenging for the podium again."

I thought he rode well. But I'll take some convincing Toomy has the temprament to be more cautious though .... or that he'll post such good results as he did in race 1 if he tries to be. Bit of a bind for him really. Wish him luck tho.
